"Why so serious?" asks the Joker.

Heck, those magnificent stalwarts at IPL negotiated even the hem-lines of cheer-leaders and these nut-jobs are giving away Rs. 9379/- over a liquid soap dispenser? So, India can stage a major sporting event, just that we sometimes are curious about the answers to "What's the worst that could happen?". But, we are also living in a world that is giving out Nobel Peace prizes for saying "War is peace, if you think about it" ... so what the hell ...

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY- IT'S SO FUNNY
There is another urban myth among people that leaves me perplexed. The reason for all decadence around - be it bad movies, bad music, sub-standard sportsmanship, media behavior, political let-downs, religious scams,  financial collapses, internet shopping and Apple iPhones - everything is explained by the common man as "too much money and human greed". We all shrug, "They are after money. What do you expect?" Honestly, this confuses me … how can everyone be after money? There has got to be a better explanation. Have you ever wondered that? Isn't it too strange that somehow most of the human civilization are living only for money these days? Either this intuitively pleasing perception is wrong/too trivial or here's an explanation: May be, people choose and chase money as a success parameter because they don't know what else to do in their lives. But, why 'money'? May be for the simple reason that it is COUNTABLE (as a measure) ??? Is the logic is based on simple 2nd class math : "x>y>0 => x is better than y"???  :-)

Trivially Yours ...
