An incisive, self-accusing and an important article:

http://www.ndtv.com/debate/showdebate.asp?show=1&story_id=243&template=&category=Sports

The particular line below was funny:

"Public opinion nowadays resonates in the SMSs. While a host of them called Team India names, one blamed Indira Gandhi for India's loss in the World Cup - because she was responsible for the creation of Bangladesh." (This is the height of being a loser)

Sadly, the writer has an authentic point. What, we in India lack is the habit of constant self-introspection. We are ever searching for "causes" to the "effects" all the time, but the search is miserably restricted to the external factors. (Hey, Whats wrong with me? Nothing that I can think of!)

And if everything is right around you and still something goes wrong, we shrug and say "Bad Time. Couldn't help it!".
